Privacy Policy

We treat your personal information with the same quiet respect we hold for the forest. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you hold.

Last Updated · 01 July 2026

1. Information We Collect

To reserve permits and craft your journey, we collect information you provide directly, including:

  • Identity & contact: name, age, nationality, email, and phone number.
  • Government identification: passport or national ID details, as mandated by the Forest Department for permit issuance.
  • Booking & payment: travel dates, zone preferences, and payment details processed securely by our payment partners.
  • Correspondence: messages you send us through forms, email, or our AI trip planner.

2. How We Use It

We use your information to secure safari permits, confirm and manage bookings, personalise your itinerary, process payments, respond to enquiries, and — with your consent — send occasional travel inspiration. We do not sell your personal data to anyone, ever.

3. Sharing & Disclosure

We share personal information only where necessary to deliver your journey:

  • With the Rajasthan Forest Department, to obtain permits (identity and ID details are mandatory here).
  • With trusted partners — accommodation, transport, and payment processors — strictly to fulfil your booking.
  • Where required by law, court order, or lawful government request.

4. Cookies & Analytics

Our website uses essential cookies to keep it functioning and optional analytics cookies to understand how guests explore our pages, so we may improve them. You may disable non-essential cookies through your browser at any time without affecting your ability to browse.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described here and to meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations. Identity documents shared for permits are held only for the duration required by the Forest Department and are then securely deleted.

6. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures — encryption in transit, restricted access, and secure payment gateways — to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and withdraw consent to marketing communications at any time. To exercise these rights, write to us at info@ranthamboresafaritours.in and we will respond within a reasonable period.

8. Children's Privacy

Bookings that include minors are made by an accompanying adult, who provides and consents to the processing of the child's details. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children.

9. Contact Us
